Mitzela is truly secluded and unspoilt; this is partly because road access is difficult along forest tracks. So if you come by road you need to be prepared for the 1 hour off road experience of forest tracks, alternatively Helicopter transfers can be arranged.

It is situated about 20 km north of Zagora on the Pelion Peninsula on the east coast of mainland Greece. 

The closest village is Pouri 15 km to the south along a forest road (45 minutes).
